Welcome Don House to our Pro Staff
|

|
In February of 2008 Don House agreed to become a Pro Staff Member for us at Midwest Fishing Tackle. His knowledge of fishing is greatly appreciated by our staff. Don has been a business owner for over 20 years. Five years ago Don decided to sell his computer and technology business in the Kansas City area and chase his dream of a career in fishing. He moved to Southwest Missouri and began working as a guide for another Guide Service on Table Rock Lake.
It wasn't long before Don went out on his own and started the Branson Fishing Guide Service. He has five years of experience guiding others but has been fishing for as long as he can remember.
Don is a member of the Factory Field Pro Staff for G3 Boats, a Pro Staff Member for Humminbird, Pro Staff Member for Bassin USA and now here at Midwest Fishing Tackle.
Don is a licensed Captain and takes his guest to both Table Rock Lake and Lake Tanneycomo. On Table Rock Lake he uses his vast knowledge of deep water fishing to assist his guest in catching fish on this deep - clear lake. Also, Don has great knowledge of marine electronics and uses them to locate fish in Table Rock Lake where the best fishing sucess usually comes from fishing in depths of 50 feet or more.
For his guest who want something a little different Don offers trips on Lake Tanneycomo to chase both Rainbow and Brown Trout. He can also take bass from this lake as well.
Don is an accomplished tournament angler. He started out fishing club tournaments and later moved on to regional and national circuits. He cut back on the tournament fishing due to the extensive travel required which left him missing his family consisting of a wife of 23 years and two daughters. When Don first started guiding he continued to compete in regional tournaments but got so busy he had to cut back the tournament fishing. He spends 200+ days on the water with guests.
Midwest Fishing Tackle again welcomes Don to our Pro Staff.
